Stockmanship Schedule

A new Stockmanship Experience starts every Saturday

Ride from 2–6 Days
Horses provided or bring your own!

Join your hosts, internationally-recognized Master Horseman Dennis Reis and his wife Deborah for a fun and motivational Stockmanship Experience Course. Dennis and Deborah Reis are Wrangler Company endorsees and for over 12 years aired a National Television show on RFD TV and traveled to over 33 states a year on their No Dust Tour.

This Stockmanship Experience offers you a beautiful ranch atmosphere to interact with horses and cattle in a way that you have never experienced before! You will be assigned your own Reis Ranch horse (or bring your own) to be cared for and ride daily. Enter the corral and meet the horses with an introduction to “Ranch Stockmanship.”

Topics Covered: Horse psychology, ground
school, mounted safety, cattle handling,
ranch roping and ranch operations

You will interact with the horses and cattle on the ground using kind and gentle techniques. You will learn about “Understanding and Communication versus Mechanics and Fear” as you work in the round pen and move cows from one corral to the other.

Then climb upon one of the beautiful Reis Ranch cow working horses to ride the ranch, check cattle and learn about land management.

An important element of our program is agricultural and ranching education. Our ranching workshops promote natural and sustainable methods of ranch operations, cattle handling and raising grass-fed beef.
